And the Armor Materials for mass-produce development were made of Minerals, besides the Titanium Alloy; it was the same resource crystal to create armor-hulls, it is suitable material as Titanium/Ceramic, it was, such alloys have very high tensile strength and toughness (even at extreme temperatures), light weight, extraordinary corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures.

And beam weaponry which it is useful for pierced armored, depend on how durable was, and that includes physical weapons.

This weapon is converts from physical standard assault rifle into beam machine, based on AMS-129 Geara Zulu's beam assault rifle, it can shoot yellow beams and can be fired fully-automatic. The gun is powered by a replaceable energy pac, if the energy pac runs out of energy it can be replaced with a fresh one stored on the front skirt armor.

This weapon utilizes the system weapon construction of the the Hollyfield Factory Weapons GMG-MG79 GM machine gun to create a dockable-type long barrel rifle.

Developed late in the One Year War, records indicate that it was deployed for combat testing with the GM Kai units of the instructor corps during Operation Star One, but it is not known if it led to full scale production and deployment after this.

The barrel is entirely free floated, and under the barrel, there is an unusual feature for a MS-carried weapon: a bipod.  Though the long barrel would typically place this weapon in the sniper rifle category, when combined with the 120 round box magazine, the weapon can also be utilized as a squad support weapon.   Though typically accurate sniping ability and heavy support firepower are typically not qualities seen combined in most weapons, this ‘greedy weapon’ manages to combine both.

Though records of actual deployment are scant, there are reports that the late war RGM-79SP GM Sniper II was able to engage enemy Mobile Suits at ranges over 7000 meters, with 95% accuracy.  The plans for this weapon were never specifically intended to create a single role rifle, but if anything, the excellent usage of the system weapon’s qualities to create an excellent dual-role long rifle is the noteworthy point of this weapon.

Which this weapon is now converts into Beam weapon the same way as the old bullpup machine gun.

The RGM-89D Jegan D Type is a mass-produced general-purpose mobile suit variant of the RGM-89 Jegan.

The RGM-89D Jegan is an upgraded version of the basic RGM-89 Jegan that was in service with the Federation forces in UC 0096. It features minor upgrades in performance and teams of these Jegans would work in concert with more advanced Federation mobile suits such as the RGM-89S Stark Jegan, the RGZ-95 ReZEL, and the RGZ-95C ReZEL Commander Type.

RGM-89A2 Jegan Type-A2 (GR) (Desert)

Technologically the RGM-89D Jegan is not an innovative mobile suit. As with other mobile suits of the RGM line the Jegan features a fairly standard and simple armament of a beam saber, a beam rifle utilizing a rechargeable energy cap, a vulcan gun pod (similar to the vulcan pod used by the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II), a three slot hand grenade rack (a feature introduced with the original Jegan), and a new model of shield that has two 2-tube small missile launchers built in. The Jegan could also be outfitted with bazooka style weapons for increased firepower.

The rocket thrusters used by the Jegan are derived from the RGM-86R GM III. However, when the original Jegan was introduced in UC 0093 it was slightly slower than the GM III. This is rectified with the Jegan D Type.

The armor of the Jegan is made of a light-weight yet durable composite metal composed of mostly a titanium/ceramic alloy with a small percentage of Gundarium incorporated into the mix.

One of the primary selling points is the RGM line is ease of maintenance and repair.

  • Vulcan Gun Pod

The vulcan gun pod is an optional close-range defensive armaments mounted on the head that is based on the technology of the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II. The vulcan gun is a shell firing weapon with a high-rate of fire but have little power and are generally ineffective against mobile suits, though it can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. The vulcan gun is ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles.

These waist mounted grenades can be thrown like regular grenades and set to detonate upon impact with the target or timed to explode after a preset time. The grenades can also be launched directly from the rack, while grenade launchers used during the One Year War fired unguided grenades, later versions launch self-propelled homing missiles with their own optical guidance systems.

  • Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by an energy capacitor that is recharged from special racks. The beam saber is capable of cutting through any metal that has not been treated with anti-beam coating. The Jegan is equipped with a single beam saber stored in a recharge rack located in the right hip armor. The Jegan's beam saber features a pair of beam emitters which can be adjusted to a high or low-output mode.

In place of a beam rifle, the Jegan can be outfitted with a bazooka. As with its human-sized counterpart the bazooka fires explosive physical rounds at a high velocity that do significant damage on impact. Although it does not have the same penetrative power as a beam rifle, the bazooka does more extensive damage and is easily capable of destroying a mobile suit in one shot or break through the armor of a battleship.

  • Beam Rifle

A standard ranged armament of many mobile suits is the beam rifle. The particle beam fired from a beam rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures. The beam rifle carried by the Jegan is a rapid fire, short range type. Sensors built into the rifle provide interface between the weapon and the Jegan's camera sensor.

The particle beam fired from the beam rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures. In addition, the beam rifle wielded by the ReZEL can also emit a beam saber from its tip, allowing it to act as a long beam saber. This allows the rifle to be used as a close combat weapon in the event that the pilot is unable to draw the beam saber in time
  • BR-87A Beam Rifle

The same beam rifle used by the Marasai and Hizack. The beam rifle is powered by a rechargeable energy cap and capable of firing concentrated mega particles, a shot can damage any ordinary armor that has not been specially treated to resist beam attacks.

  • Shield

A basic optional arm-mounted defense armament for many Federation mobile suits. The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. Since the introduction of beam weaponry, shields have been treated with an anti-beam coating allowing it to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break. A shield can be equipped to either arm of the Jegan in order to increase defense against both beam and physical attacks.

= The Jegan's shield also possesses minor offensive capabilities as it is built with two 2-tube small missile launchers. These small missiles are not very effective against large ships, but are ideal mid-range anti-mobile suit weapons.

  • Beam Gatling Gun

Seen on Gilboa Sant's custom Geara Zulu, the 4-barrel beam gatling gun can fire volleys of particle beams and usually come in a pair. The two can be used as separate guns or can be combined together on the forearm of a MS. The gatling gun itself seems to have less firepower as separate guns than a beam rifle.

The bullpup machine gun is an open-bolt, gas-operated, magazine-fed, mobile suit handheld sub-machine gun. It does not require energy to be used, however it is ineffective against heavy armor.

When the magazine is empty, it can be discarded and replaced with a new one.

The "Schwert Gewehr" 15.78m anti-ship sword is the Sword Strike's largest and primary weapon. It is a large physical sword that has a laser blade along the cutting edge. The large blade is designed to easily slice mobile suits in half or to cut off sections of a ship such as the guns. Although "Schwert Gewehr" was designed to have a laser gun at the bottom end, Strike only uses the prototype model which lacks this feature and has it replaced by a short beam blade emitter. Due to its sharp tip, the sword can also be used for aquatic combat. It is stored on the right side of the backpack when not in use.

  • "Panzer Eisen" Rocket Anchor

Mounted on the left forearm, the front portion is a rocket-propelled grappling claw that is shot out on a line to hit or grab an enemy unit. The whole weapon itself can function as a shield and has anti-beam coating to defend against beam weapons. It can also be used for aquatic combat and can defend against the Phonon Maser.

  • "Midas Messer" Beam Boomerang

The "Midas Messer" beam boomerang is a throwing weapon that emits a short beam blade on one end, and can return to the owner after throwing, often catching enemy units by surprise. It is stored on Sword Strike's left shoulder armor when not in use.

  • "Agni" 320mm Hyper Impulse Beam Cannon

The primary weapon of the Launcher Strike is the powerful "Agni" 320mm hyper impulse beam cannon. At its introduction, it was one of the most powerful mobile suit mounted weapon and is capable of blasting a hole through a colony wall. It is mounted on the left side of the backpack via an arm unit, and held under the left shoulder when in use.

The secondary weapon of the Launcher Strike, it contains a multi-barreled 120mm anti-ship Vulcan gun and a pair of 350mm gun launchers. It is mounted on the right shoulder armor and mainly used to defend against missiles and enemy mobile suits.

The RGM-89DEW EWAC Jegan is a reconnaissance version of the RGM-89D Jegan D Type.

The RGM-89DEW EWAC Jegan is a variant of the RGM-89D Jegan D Type, modified for reconnaissance operations and fitted with electronic warfare equipment (early warning and control). Following the design features of the MSA-007E EWAC Nero, the EWAC Jegan can detect enemy mobile suits and gather intelligence on them.

Then relay this information to the Combat Information Center (CIC) aboard its mothership.

The Jegan's head is replaced with the head of a RGZ-95 ReZEL to enhance its detection capability of enemy mobile suits. It's backpack contains data processing and communications systems. The information it gathers can be relayed in real time via radio and laser signals, or recorded and stored in its backpack for later recovery.

A beam rifle specialized for sniping. This beam rifle is exclusively used by the White Dingo Team. The rifle is also equipped on the RGM-79[G] GM Sniper, though the latter's generator isn't powerful enough to fire the rifle by itself.

  • Early Warning And Control (EWAC)

The EWAC is a set of equipment that is attached to the mobile suit and is designed to detect enemy machines and gather intelligence on them.

  • Mirage Colloid stealth system (Additional)

In this system, a powerful magnetic field is utilized to hold in place microscopic prisms capable of blocking infra-red emission as well as bend visible light and radio waves around an object (e.g.a mobile suit). However due to the system's high energy consumption, it could only be activated for up to 80 minutes. Also, since Phase Shift armor is disabled while Mirage Colloid is active, the Blitz is highly vulnerable in its cloaked state if an enemy is able to locate its position.

  • Laser Designator (Additional)

The targeting guided system which it is located in the right side of the mobile suit. Able to pin-point the target for laser-guided Tactical Nuke or percision Artillery munition.

When a target is marked by a designator, the beam is invisible and does not shine continuously. Instead, a series of coded pulses of laser-light are fired. These signals bounce off the target into the sky, where they are detected by the seeker on the laser guided munition, which steers itself towards the centre of the reflected signal. Unless the people being targeted possess laser detection equipment or can hear aircraft overhead, it is extremely difficult for them to tell whether they are being marked or not. Laser designators work best in clear atmospheric conditions. Cloud cover, rain or smoke can make reliable designation of targets difficult or even impossible.

The RGM-89S Prototype Stark Jegan is a prototype anti-ship assault mobile suit. 

The Prototype Stark Jegan is created by making drastic modifications to the original RGM-89 Jegan, and is meant for anti-ship combat.

A small number were produced as functional testbeds for the RGM-89D Jegan D Type based RGM-89S Stark Jegan. Like the Stark Jegan, the Prototype Stark Jegan is fitted with additional leg armor and thrusters that can be ejected if needed.

Among the differences between the prototype version and the standard model is that the prototype model is not as heavily armored.

However, some of its body armor uses Gundarium Alloy making it more resistant to enemies projectiles. Secondly, the missiles used by the two units differ, with the prototype model capable of mounting four large anti-ship missiles.

  • Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by an energy capacitor that is recharged from special racks. The Prototype Stark Jegan is equipped with a single beam saber stored in a recharge rack located in the right hip armor, and this beam saber features a pair of beam emitters which can be adjusted to a high or low-output mode.

  • Triple Missile Pod

A triple missile pod can be mounted on each of Prototype Stark Jegan's shoulder, and ejected after used to increase the suit's speed. Furthermore, each missile pod may be equipped with two large missiles on the side. These large missiles can be anti-ship missiles tipped with nuclear warhead.

  • Beam Rifle (GM III's version)

Another beam rifle type that the Prototype Stark Jegan could be equipped with. It is first used by RGM-86R GM III, powered by a rechargeable energy cap and has a power rating of 2.8 MW.

  • Hyper Bazooka

The Prototype Stark Jegan can be outfitted with a handheld Hyper Bazooka that fires 380mm rounds. As with its human-sized counterpart, the bazooka fires explosive physical rounds at a high velocity that do significant damage on impact. Although it does not have the same penetrative power as a beam rifle, the bazooka does more extensive damage and is easily capable of destroying a mobile suit in one shot or break through the armor of a battleship.

  • Large Anti-Ship Missile

The Prototype Stark Jegan can be equipped with four large anti-ship missiles in place of the shoulder mounted 3-tube anti-ship missile pods. Each missile appears to be able to destroy a ship.

The RGM-89S Stark Jegan is a mass-production heavy assault mobile suit built as a mid-range fire support unit.

The overall performance of the Stark Jegan is superior to the standard RGM-89 Jegan and RGM-89D Jegan D Type. The Stark Jegan's body is fitted with additional armor, thrusters, and two missile pod are incorporated across the mobile suit. Additionally, the large missile launcher is capable of mounting a nuclear warhead. Aside from these fixed armaments on the Stark Jegan, the unit can also carry a bazooka or beam rifle.

The Stark Jegan can move at greater speeds than a standard Jegan as the Stark Jegan has additional thrusters. Although the Stark Jegan is slowed down by the additional armor and armaments, if necessary, these additional equipment can be purged from the unit.

All the Jegans have Gundarium alloy armor which makes up 25% of the outer armor while most of it is made out of titanium alloy/ceramic composite and it also has a semi transparent coating or armor on it.

The Jegan's shield also possesses minor offensive capabilities as it is built with two 2-tube small missile launchers. These small missiles are not very effective against large ships, but are ideal mid-range anti-mobile suit weapon.

It can be fired in rapid fire mode. Conroy would typically use the handgun when his Jegan's special visor is down for better accuracy. It is stored on the Jegan's lower left leg's hardpoint when not in use.

  • Dagger Knife

Used by Conroy's Jegan (ECOAS Type), this physical blade is stored in a sheath located on the left shoulder.

  • Mega Bazooka Launcher

The most powerful class of beam weapon used by mobile suits. The mega launcher is a large mega particle cannon with firepower exceeding that of a warship's guns, which draws its power from a built-in thermonuclear reactor. Instead of being carried by a mobile suit into battle(like in the Gryps Conflict), the mega launcher would be connected via a power cable to the Nahel Argama's main cannons power supply, allowing a mobile suit to operate it to as a makeshift turret. Conroy would use the launcher along with his Jegan (ECOAS Type) for long range sniping due to the Jegan's unique Precision Firing Sensor.

The RGM-96X Jesta is a specialized escort and special operations mobile suit.

The Jesta is a high performance special operations mobile suit of the Jegan series developed by Anaheim Electronics to escort the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, as the Unicorn Gundam's operating time in its Destroy Mode is limited. Furthermore, aside from escorting the Unicorn Gundam, the Jesta's intended mission is to dispatch ordinary enemy forces. By eliminating ordinary non-Newtype enemy forces, the Jesta attempts to produce "situations" in which the Unicorn Gundam can directly confront and destroy enemy Newtype weapons.

The beam rifle uses the same standard magazine connector as the Jegan and ReZEL's rifles. If required, Jesta can still use the standard beam rifle used by the Jegan.

The beam rifle features a stock, a different pistol grip, a vertical fore-grip, a suppressor, an EOtech-like sight, folding front and back post iron sights, and picatinny-like railings at 3 and 9'o'clock.

The DC-50C Loto is a transformable mobile suit/tank, used by Earth Federation's Londo Bell and ECOAS special forces; the Loto functions as a stealth infiltration unit.

As a special operations mobile suit the Loto can take part in a variety of missions. To allow greater versatility the Loto can mount a variety of weapons on its shoulders (or the hardpoints between shoulder and head) including a pair of 120mm cannons, a large gatling gun, or a smaller machine gun. Its set armaments include a beam burners and a pair of 12-tube missile launchers.

Like other descendants of the RX-75-4 Guntank, the Loto does not posses standard mobile suit "hands" instead possessing a set of missile launchers.

Like its predecessors the Loto requires multiple pilots to operate. The Loto has two seats reserved for a pilot and a gunner, these seats are located in the upper chest. Located in the lower torso is a third seat likely given to a communications/sensor officer. Both compartments possess separate cockpit doors on the front of the mobile suit.

One new feature that sets it apart from its ancestors is how the Loto has a large compartment situated on its upper back, and connected internally to the cockpit, that is designed to hold up to eight armed soldiers, allowing it to act as an armored personnel carrier; it can also function as a field headquarters and has a variety of sensors and communications equipment.

A second compartment on the lower back, and again connected internally to the upper cockpit, that is used to quickly deploy the soldiers. This transport capability likely explains why the Loto has a smaller low-output reactor.

In terms of maneuverability the Loto surpasses its ancestors though it falls short of other mobile suits. With its ability to transform into a mobile suit with movable limbs the Loto can use the AMBAC system allowing for mobility in space as opposed to the Guntanks which were limited to operating as Earth-use attack vehicles. However their limbs are not as sophisticated as other mobile suits which in turn translates into a less sophisticated AMBAC.

The Loto also possesses a number of rocket and vernier thrusters, but because of its small size and the fact that so much of its exterior is devoted to other devices such as its wheel treads, the number of thrusters and the size of their fuel tanks are small.

While incapable of high speed acceleration or the maneuvers of modern mobile suits the Loto is comparable to older generation machines. Though not designed for combat in open space the Loto performs admirably as a mid to long range support unit in colonies or on asteroids.

The Loto was developed by the Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI) and its operating data would be used for the development of future miniaturized mobile suits.

  • Beam Burner

The Loto is equipped with two beam burners, these beam burners are a melee weapon similar the beam saber. The beam burners are part of sub-arms mounted on the missile launchers. The sub-arms are simple in their design, appearing similar to the robotic arms used for manufacturing purposes, possessing little to no armor and mounting simple manipulator claws that can grasp something but cannot perform fine manipulation. As seen when the sub-arm was easily bent by the MSN-06S Sinanju. The beam burner is set in the "palm" of the sub-arm between the manipulator claws. When active the beam burner has a noticeable blue color and is smaller then a beam saber. In addition to combat, the beam burner can also be used for cutting through walls for infiltration purposes.

  • 12-tube Missile Launcher

In place of standard manipulator arms the Loto possesses a two 12-tube missile launchers. These missile launchers are 12-tube micro-missile launchers.

  • 120mm Cannon

The Loto can mount a pair of 120mm cannons on the each shoulder's hardpoints. By arming the Loto with these cannons, the Loto can function as a artillery mobile suit. These 120mm cannons are shell firing weapons, which are less sophisticated and power intensive than a beam cannon, yet retain the same power and effectiveness as the cannons used on its Guntank ancestors. It has been shown possessing enough power for a single shot to destroy a mobile suit. The cannons can be fired separately or in tandem and can elevate or depress for a wider angle of fire.

  • Mega Machine Cannon

The Loto can mount a four-barrel heavy machine cannon on its right shoulder. This large weapon fires heavy-caliber armor-piercing anti-mobile suit rounds that can rip older mobile suits to pieces within seconds. The appearance of this weapon is similar to a gatling gun.

  • Machine Gun

The Loto can be equipped with a right shoulder mounted machine gun. Although this weapon is ineffective against most mobile suits, although it is ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles.

  • Loto Cannon Type

The Loto Long Cannon Type is a range bombardment Loto outfitted with two 120mm cannons. This unit resembles the RX-75-4 Guntank. The cannons can disable or even destroy a mobile suit with a single shot.

  • Loto Machine Cannon Type

The Loto Machine Cannon Type is fitted with a shoulder mounted machine cannon. This unit resembles the RXR-44 Guntank R-44 Powered Weapons Type.

The RGC-83 GM Cannon II is more heavily-armed than its predecessor. It is equipped with two shoulder-mounted beam cannons, unlike the RX-77-2 Guncannon (which is equipped with cannons that fire solid shells), and can carry a 90mm machine gun as well as a beam saber for close combat. It also includes two 60mm vulcan guns mounted in the head, but these are usually last-resort weapons.

To power the GM Cannon II's beam cannons the suit is equipped with a reactor that has a much higher output. It is also very heavily armored, featuring Chobham armor based on the same design as the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex", although the armor was built directly into its body rather than being mounted on a smaller frame.

However, it pays the price for this durability with very low speed and mobility. A GM Cannon II on its own has been shown to not be able to fend for itself due to opponents being able to outmaneuver it, unless its opponent also lacks speed.

A standard armament of the mobile suits that are descended from the Earth Federation Forces's RX series is a pair of head mounted 60mm vulcan guns. These shell firing weapons have a high-rate of fire but have little power and can't damage the thick armor of a mobile suit, though it can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. The weapons are ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles, small land vehicles, and attack helicopters.

  • Beam Saber

The standard armament for melee combat for Earth Federation mobile suits is the beam saber. The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by an energy capacitor that is recharged from special racks. The beam saber emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-field and is capable of cutting through any metal alloy. The only way to block a beam saber is to counter with another beam saber or to use armor that has been treated with an anti-beam coating. The GM Cannon II is equipped with a single beam saber stored in a recharge storage rack on its left forearm.

  • Beam Cannon

The primary weapons of the GM Cannon II are a pair of mega-particle beam cannons mounted on the backpack. Mega-particles are fed to the beam cannons by the two large drum-like E-Caps mounted below them on the backpack.

A basic optional arm-mounted defense armament for many Federation mobile suits. The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. The GM Rifle is a simple shell-firing machine gun that is based on older technologies, it has no where near the power of a beam rifle, but it is a weapon that can be cheaply produced and easily maintained. It features different barrel, sensor unit, stock and magazine configurations that allows for different ballistic and handling properties. The ammunition is stored in spare clips that can be replaced when they are used up.

The RX-160S Byarlant Custom is a variant of the RX-160 Byarlant. It is a Prototype High Mobility Mobile Suit,

After the Gryps Conflict of UC 0087, the Earth Federation reclaimed the data of the RX-160 Byarlant as it was the only non-transformable mobile suit with sustained atmospheric flight ability. However this never happened until UC 0096, where the mobile suit researchers refurbished said mobile suit into the RX-160S Byarlant Custom. The Byarlant Custom possesses enhanced speed, agility, and self-sustained atmospheric flight over the original. All these were achieved through the use of enhanced thruster units all over its body and two new back-mounted thrusters, which also contain large-capacity fuel tanks.

Other changes to the suit include arm parts taken from RX-110 Gabthley, a new foot design derived from the NRX-055 Baund Doc and the replacement of the mono-eye sensor with EFF standard compound type sensors. Two Byarlant Custom units were produced at Torrington Base, with Unit 1 being a validation unit for the enhanced thrusters and various modifications; as such it does not fix the Byarlant's flaw of limited armaments. Development staff have referred to the project as a composite "creature" (Chimera) of Titans mobile suits.

  • Mega Particle Cannon

A fixed armament mounted on each forearm, they are the suit's only range weapon and their power are rated at 4.7 MW. By adjusting the relevant parameters/settings of the particle cannons (such as its output), the weapon can have a variety of firing modes, including a beam machine gun-like mode that have a high rate of fire at the expense of penetrating power.

  • Beam Saber

Unlike the original Byarlant, the Byarlant Custom's beam sabers are not stored in arm recharge racks. Instead the beam sabers are generated from the Mega Particle Cannons.

  • Claw Arm

While the original Byarlant has small claws for manipulators, the Byarlant Custom is equipped with two claw arms from Gabthley for improved melee combat capability. However, they are even more unsuitable for wielding weapons.

  • Propellant Tank/Thruster Units

As the name suggests, the propellant tank/thruster unit is a combination of large MS-use fuel tank with rocket-propelled thruster units attached at the end. It provides additional fuel for longer deployment times and greatly enhances Byarlant Custom's acceleration and agility during aerial combats. A pair of propellant tank/thruster units are equipped on both sides of Byarlant Custom's original built-in back thrusters.

The RGM-79N GM Custom is a variation of the famous RGM series developed by the Earth Federation. It's a production model built after the end of the One Year War. Originally planned as a successor unit to replace the existing mass-production service models, the GM Custom is equipped with a high-output generator and features improved thrusters and auxiliaries. Along with other adjustments such as amplified actuators for faster limb response and additional verniers for better altitude control, the GM Custom possesses vastly superior overall performance and balance when compared to other mass-produced machines.

As a part of the "Augusta series" high-performance MS built after the war, the GM Custom was designed and manufactured using the data and technology, and even spare parts obtained from the development of Gundam-type mobile suits, such as the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex" (where certain design features are evident on the GM Custom). Thus, even among the other high-spec MS of the Augusta series, the GM Custom is still considered as one of the best units of the line.

Despite having output and mobility rivaling that of a Gundam-type MS and being arguably the highest performing GM unit variant during the Delaz Conflict, there is, in fact, nothing that the GM Custom truly excels at, other than being a very balanced general-purpose MS. It can be said that the GM Custom is a "jack of all trades, but master of none".

Due to its construction complexity and high production cost ratios, the GM Custom was not equipped with Beam weapons (despite being capable of doing so due to its high generator output) and its mass-production plans never left the draft stage. As a result, only a limited number of GM Customs were produced and these actual deployment units were assigned only to "ace" class pilots and/or spec-ops teams.

After the events of the Delaz Conflict, the Augusta Base development team, along with their projects, were drafted under the management of the newly established Titans elite unit. Impressed with the GM Custom's performance, the Titans acquired the production line and streamlined the GM Custom's design to be simpler and better suited for mass-production. And thus marks the end of the production life the of GM Custom, and the new RGM-79Q GM Quel is born. This new model would serve as the Titans' mainstay mobile suit until it too was replaced by the RMS-106 Hizack.

The RMS-179 GM II (aka RGM-79R GM II) is a mass-production general-purpose mobile suit.

The RMS-179/RGM-79R GM II represented little in the way of technological innovation. Its performance was only slightly better than the GM I mobile suit featuring slight improvements in power output, acceleration, and sensor range. The GM II also features improvements in armament as it is usually equipped with a beam rifle which is a more powerful weapon with greater range than the GM's beam spray gun.

One truly new piece of technology featured in the GM II is the 360-degrees panoramic cockpit first used in the RMS-106 Hizack, a mobile suit that has similar performance capabilities as the GM II.

The bullpup machine gun is an open-bolt, gas-operated, magazine-fed, mobile suit handheld sub-machine gun. It does not require energy to be used, however it is ineffective against heavy armor. When the magazine is empty, it can be discarded and replaced with a new one.

  • Bazooka

As with its human-sized counterpart the bazooka fires explosive physical rounds at a high velocity that do significant damage on impact. Although it does not have the same penetrative power as a beam rifle, the bazooka does more extensive damage and is easily capable of destroying a mobile suit in one shot or break through the armor of a battleship. This is the same model used by the RGM-89 Jegan.

  • Harpoon Gun

Designed with amphibious combat in mind, this weapon proved to be very versatile as it can be used while underwater or on land. The disadvantages of this weapon, however are just as great as it only has four harpoons and like most solid round weapons, the harpoons may not be able to pierce deeply into the armor of enemy mobile suits to cause enough damage. This weapon was first seen used by the RAG-79 Aqua GM.

  • NFHI*EPHB-type.Doc-04/380mm Hyper Bazooka

The ground-type hyper bazooka fires a 380x1900 millimeter HEDP rocket at ranges up to 2.5 kilometers. It is loaded with a 5-round box magazine with one round pre-loaded into the chamber.

  • Railcannon

A weapon which uses electromagnetic forces, rather than gunpowder, to fire solid projectiles at very high velocities. This weapon was first seen used by the RGM-79F Land Combat Type GM.

  • 170mm Cannon

A 170mm shell-firing cannon. While the weapon has a similar appearance to that of the NNFHI·GMCa-type.09/180mm Cannon used by the RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type, there are some clear differences in the design of the two weapons which set them apart from one another.

  • Shield

A basic optional arm-mounted defense armament for many Federation mobile suits. The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. Since the introduction of beam weaponry, shields have been treated with an anti-beam coating allowing it to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break. A shield can be equipped to either arm of the GM II in order to increase defense against both beam and physical attacks.

  • RGM*S-Sh-WF/S-00109 Shield

Beside the standard model, the GM II is capable of mounting on either of its forearms a smaller RGM*S-Sh-WF/S-00109 Shield. It is capable of deflecting most incoming ballistic projectiles and some explosive warheads. Mount latch and joint/pivot mount position retracted for protection or extended for slashing or punching attacks. Can be thrust into the ground and used as an elevated weapon firing position. Features include top carrying handle and shield claw. Some pilots would use this shield model when using the Bazooka.

  • Ballute System

An atmospheric entry device designed to be used by a Mobile Suit. As the mobile suit enters the atmosphere, a bowl-shaped ballute (balloon parachute) deploys to protect it from the friction heat of atmospheric entry. The balloon then detaches, leaving the mobile suit with chest and leg hover units which ease its descent to the ground. If the mobile suit reaches the ground without expending all the fuel in the leg units, these devices can also be used for hovering and high-speed strike missions. The equipment was designed and mass produced between the years UC 0083 and 0087 and is designed to be used by a multitude of different mobile suit models.

In terms of raw battlefield potential, the GM III is a tremendous upgrade over the Federation's antiquated RMS-179 GM II. The GM III was an upgraded GM II at heart, but featured a more powerful generator and improved sensors, making it a practically new mobile suit. The unit's survivability was increased by adding Gundarium Alloy to the armor and strengthening the overall frame.

Along with substantial armor upgrades, the GM III featured a higher output backpack modeled after the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II's in order to take advantage of the generator's increased output.

The backpack increased the GM III's thruster acceleration by 37% over the GM II's, enabling a much higher speed and much greater maneuvering capability. Along similar lines, the GM III featured vernier units on the outer calf area of either of its legs, further enhancing the unit's mobility and thrust capability.

Aside from armor and generator upgrades, the GM III was the host of a myriad of specially designed beam and conventional weapons.

The GM III sports the typical head-mounted vulcan guns and a pair of beam sabers mounted on the backpack, but with its increased durability and speed, the GM III was able to mount either a 4-tube medium-missile launcher, or a 15-tube small-missile launcher on both shoulders, as well as two large 2-tube missile launchers on both side skirts. The GM III's increased reactor output allowed for the use of a new, higher-output version of the GM II's beam rifle as well.

These additions gave the GM III more than a dozen missiles and a powerful beam rifle to use offensively at any given time when fully outfitted. For the defensive role, the GM III carries an identical shield to the GM II, but this shield is made out of Gundarium Alloy and treated with an anti-beam coating to increase its defensive capability.

  • 2-tube Large Missile Pod

Further adding to the GM III's offensive capabilities is a pair of hip-mounted 2-tube large missile pods. The missiles themselves are on a similar scale to warship missiles, with a single missile having the potential to destroy a mobile suit. The launchers themselves are allowed a bit of mobility on the hip skirts, but are largely cumbersome with respect to the unit's arms. In the same fashion as the unit's other missile pods, this pod can be ejected at any time to increase the unit's mobility.

  • 4-tube Medium Missile Pod

The GM III can be outfitted with a 4-tube medium missile pod on each shoulder. Each pod has its own targeting camera, allowing for more efficient target acquisition during combat. In the same fashion as the unit's other missile pods, this pod can be ejected at any time to increase the unit's mobility.

  • 15-tube Small Missile Pod

Similar in design to the aforementioned 4-tube medium missile pod, the 15-tube small missile pod arranges three rows of five missiles each into a similar shoulder-mounted configuration. Although much smaller than a bazooka or grenade round, these can destroy light-to-medium armored targets with ease. In the same fashion as the unit's other missile pods, this pod can be ejected at any time to increase the unit's mobility.

  • Beam Javelin

The GM III's beam javelin is based on the same weapon used by RX-78-2 Gundam during the One Year War. The javelin has a higher output than the standard beam saber, and the beam's shape allows for a greater amount of armor penetration ability. These characteristic allows the javelin's user to destroy a mobile suit with a strong anti-beam coating very easily.

  • Beam Rifle

The standard ranged armament of the many mobile suits is the beam rifle. The particle beam fired from a beam rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures. The beam rifle used by the RGM-86R GM III is upgraded from that used by the RMS-179 GM II and has a power rating of 2.8 MW.

  • Harpoon Gun

Designed with amphibious combat in mind, this weapon proved to be very versatile as it can be used while underwater or on land. The disadvantages of this weapon, however are just as great as it only has four harpoons and like most solid round weapons, the harpoons may not be able to pierce deeply into the armor of enemy mobile suits to cause enough damage.

  • Fedayeen Rifle/Beam Saber

Originally used by the RX-139 Hambrabi and RX-110 Gabthley. An extensive beam weapon with a power rated at 6.6 MW, charged by rechargeable energy cap. The fedayeen rifle can perform as a beam saber, similar to MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam's (BOWA) XBR-M87A2 Beam Rifle.

  • Shield

A basic optional arm-mounted defense armament for many Federation mobile suits. The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. The GM III's shield is made from Gundarium Alloy, giving it greater defensive capabilities. Since the introduction of beam weaponry, shields have been treated with an anti-beam coating allowing it to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break. A shield can be equipped to either arm of the GM III in order to increase defense against both beam and physical attacks.

As production of the GM III halted with the advent of the RGM-89 Jegan, some GM III units could be found wielding the more versatile shield used on the Jegan.

The RAG-79 Aqua GM is an aquatic mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation. Unlike the Principality of Zeon who developed a series of new mobile suits fully dedicated to amphibious combat, the Earth Federation instead adapted its ever versatile and always reliable GM series to create its own amphibious combat mobile suit.

While this decision allowed the Earth Federation to produce a new-purpose mobile suit for little cost, the Aqua GM suffered from technological restrictions because of the frame they use. One such restriction was the Minovsky type ultracompact fusion reactor.

Unlike Zeon amphibious mobile suits which were designed to take advantage of using the ocean as a natural heat sink, the Aqua GM used the same type of reactor as the standard RGM-79 GM which limited its ability to use beam weapons. However, in order to compensate the setback, Aqua GM is outfitted with a large number of torpedoes/missile launchers.

Since water reduces the effectiveness of beam weapons, the Aqua GM opted to return to a far less modern weapon: the torpedo. This self-propelled weapon with an explosive warhead is able to be launched toward enemies, then detonated on contact or within a proximity to the target.

  • 10-tube Missile Launcher

Beside the micro missile launchers on the shoulders, the Aqua GM could pack a much more powerful punch with the addition of an handheld 10-tube Missile Launcher.

  • Large Torpedo

Works in the same principle as its smaller counterpart; however, these torpedoes are bigger, and therefore, more dangerous. The only setback is that a Aqua GM could only bring two Large Torpedoes on the 10-tube Missile Launcher.

  • Beam Pick

Possesses the same power output as a standard beam saber but was designed to generate a smaller and more concentrated beam blade (hence the name "pick") that is harder to diffuse when underwater.

  • Hand Anchor

A pair of rocket anchor weapons equipped onto the Aqua GM's forearms. Each has a grappling claw that can catch enemy units to pull them into the Aqua GM's combat range. It can also be used to disable enemy mobile suits.

The visor of the head camera is equipped with a high magnification sensor for precision firing, to destroy the enemy at long range with a dedicated sniper rifle.

The GM Sniper II boasts the finest performance over any other Federation mass production MS during the One Year War, displaying high combat performance in battle. Its basic design and features would later be incorporated in the development of the MSA-003 Nemo.

The vulcan gun pod is an optional close-range defensive armaments mounted on the right side of GM Sniper II's head unit. The vulcan gun is a shell firing weapon with a high-rate of fire but have little power and are generally ineffective against mobile suits, though it can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. The vulcan gun is ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles. The vulcan gun pods are seen on GM Sniper II units assigned to the Australia-based White Dingo Team.

These waist mounted grenades can be thrown like regular grenades and set to detonate upon impact with the target or timed to explode after a preset time.

  • Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by an energy capacitor that is recharged from special racks. The beam saber is capable of cutting through any metal that has not been treated with anti-beam coating. The GM Sniper II is equipped with a pair of beam sabers stored in a recharge rack located on the rear skirt armor.

A mobile suit-sized version of the modern day sniper rifle with a 5 round magazine. The scope functions in conjunction with the computer of the GM Sniper II and boasts a high hit rate.  In this system, a powerful magnetic field is utilized to hold in place microscopic prisms capable of blocking infra-red emission as well as bend visible light and radio waves around an object (e.g.a mobile suit). However due to the system's high energy consumption, it could only be activated for up to 80 minutes. Also, since Phase Shift armor is disabled while Mirage Colloid is active, the Blitz is highly vulnerable in its cloaked state if an enemy is able to locate its position.

The RGZ-95 ReZEL (aka Rezel) is a mass-production transformable assault mobile weapon.

The ReZEL is a Londo Bell mobile suit that is another attempt to mass-produce the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam, after the deemed failure of the RGZ-91 Re-GZ based on an evaluation of its overall combat performance and production costs.

The ReZEL uses the basic frame of the RGM-89 Jegan and features a transformation system similar to the MSA-005 Methuss and the MSZ-008 ZII instead of the Back Weapons System (BWS) used on the Re-GZ. In UC 0096, the ReZEL is primarily equipped with the "Box Unit" backpack, thus it is currently unknown if the mobile suit is capable of atmospheric flight or orbital re-entry like the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus.

RGZ-95 ReZEL (Mobile Armor Mode)

The ReZEL features an new operating system (OS) for ease of operation and control. The operating system features a limiter that comes into operation to lower the performance of the ReZEL so that the mobile suit can be handled without difficulty by rookie pilots; however, more experienced pilots can deactivate the operating system to execute more complex maneuvers with the ReZEL.

The commander variant of the ReZEL, the RGZ-95C ReZEL Commander Type, is specialized with re-adjusted performance specifications for more experienced pilots and unit commanders. Although the ReZEL Commander Type has better overall performance, there are only minor cosmetic differences between the normal ReZEL and the Commander Type. The most notable of these differences is the "Wing Unit" backpack of the ReZEL Commander Type inspired by the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki. Moreover, the normal ReZEL features distinct red lights on its frame where the Commander Type features green lights instead.

Aside from the ReZEL Commander Type, there are other variants of the ReZEL such as the RGZ-95 ReZEL (Defenser b-Unit).

The RAS-96 Anksha is a mass-production transformable mobile suit.

The RAS-96 Anksha was developed as the successor to the NRX-044 Asshimar, but shares many interior components with the RGM-89 Jegan, and this allows its production cost to be reduced. Just like the Asshimar, the Anksha is capable of high-altitude atmospheric flight without the help of a sub-flight system while in its mobile armor mode. With the application of magnetic-coating technology on the unit's joints and large moving parts, the Anksha can transform between mobile suit and mobile armor modes in a matter of seconds.

Unlike the Asshimar and more like Federation suits of the era, the Anksha abandons its predecessor's mono-eye sensor in favor of the typical compound sensor unit as seen on the Jegan and RGZ-95 ReZEL. It is equipped with internal differential pressure sensors and air traffic control radar. Further enhancements made to the Anksha from the Asshimar's original design include a larger number of flight-surfaces, increasing the unit's maneuverability (especially while operating high in the atmosphere). Interestingly, the suit also incorporated technology from ORX-005 Gaplant in the form of the arm-mounted movable shield binders which also contain the suit's beam rifles. The Anksha can serve as a sub-flight system for other mobile suits in the same fashion as a Base Jabber.

These weapons are ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles.

  • Beam Rifle

The Anksha's beam rifles are integrated into the arm-mounted movable shield binders and directly connected to the suit's generator, improving their output.

  • Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by an energy capacitor that is recharged from special racks. The beam saber emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-Field and is capable of cutting through almost any metal that has not been treated with anti-beam coating. The Base Jabber is a single MS Carrier/Flight System.

Similar to the Principality of Zeon's Dodai YS bomber, the Base Jabber is designed to have a Mobile Suit stand on top of it as it flies. Using this sub-flight system, mobile suits that have extremely sloppy movement under gravity can improve their mobility while gaining limited flight capability. Hence, they are able to accomplish operations swiftly and solidly.

In U.C. 0093, the Earth Federation Forces developed a new Base Jabber, designated as the "Type 89". This unit's basic frame is similar to that of its predecessor; however, it is a space-use design mainly used for MS transportation. Its design allows two mobile suits to ride on it when its bottom propellant tanks are removed.

The MSN-001A1 Delta Plus (aka δ Plus) is a prototype transformable mobile suit and the variant of the MSN-001 Delta Gundam which appears in the novel and OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.

Waverider Mode

The Delta Plus is a variable type mobile suit developed in U.C. 0090, which can serve as all-purpose attack unit. Its main feature is being able to reenter the atmosphere unassisted thanks to its ability to transform into a waverider mode. This machine is also capable of atmospheric flight under the influence of 1G because of its high thrust output. It is also equipped with a bio-sensor, however, it is less effective than those which were developed by Neo Zeon.

The Delta Plus uses the technology developed in UC 0087 by Anaheim Electronics during the Zeta Project. Due to the Delta Plus being a nonstandard prototype, only a limited number of these units were produced.

  • 60mm Vulcan Gun

A standard armament of Federation mobile suits. These head mounted shell firing weapons have a high-rate of fire, but have little power and are generally ineffective against mobile suits; however, the vulcan gun can damage lightly armored areas such as the sensors. These weapons are ideal for shooting down small, fast moving, lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles.

  • Beam Rifle

The standard ranged armament of many mobile suits is the beam rifle. The particle beam fired from a beam rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures. The Delta Plus's beam rifle is powered by a replaceable energy pac, if the energy pac runs out of energy it can be replaced with a fresh one. The Delta Plus's rifle is the same as that of the RGZ-95 ReZEL.

  • Shield

The Delta Plus's shield is a multipurpose weapon. Other than being a defensive armament, it stores multi-purpose grenade launchers, beam sabers, a beam cannon and also doubles as the unit's forward section in waverider mode.

Located on the Delta Plus's shield, they can be loaded with various type of ammunitions.

The MBF-M1 M1 Astray is a mass-produced mobile suit.

A mass production version of the prototype Astray units that are developed at Heliopolis, the M1 Astray is a general purpose mobile suit, suitable for use on Earth or in space. Its armament is virtually the same as the one used on the prototype Astray units in their original state, and includes two "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS, two Type 70 beam sabers, a Type 71 beam rifle for ranged combat and a shield for defense.

Optionally, the suit can also carry up to two anti-ship swords. The suit is armored with Foam Metal like the prototype Astray units, but unlike them, the M1 Astray is not designed with a movable backpack or external connector on its back.

Instead, it permanently mounts a flight pack on its back which improves its mobility in space or on earth, and allows it to fly for a short period.

When equipped with the Launcher Striker, the GAT-X105 Strike becomes a heavy assault mobile suit designed long range assault and for taking down fortresses and heavily armored targets.

When equipped with Integrated Weapons Striker Pack (IWSP), which the pack combines the primary characteristics of the Aile, Sword and Launcher Striker Packs, allowing the Strike Gundam to handle different combat situations using only one set of equipment. It also grants mobile suit the ability to fly within the atmosphere. Although powerful, the IWSP is highly complex and difficult to use.

The IWSP was originally developed by PMP Company, but was abandoned due to energy issue. Orb's Morgenroete Inc. later acquired one of the prototypes and solved the energy issue using their superior battery technology. As the Strike IWSP has no ranged beam weapon, it can be equipped with the standard beam rifle if necessary. - Prototype Integrated Weapons System Mobile Suit. 

  • Gale Astray (LG-MBF-M1; Liberation Gale)

The Gale Strike is a strengthened and redesigned version of the Strike, and based on its pilot characteristics, it is adjusted into a close combat machine. Its shoulders mount improved version of the propulsion system used in the Aile Striker, greatly improving the suit's maneuverability and giving it powerful thrusts in forward and side to side movements. The new location also grants the propulsion system a wider range of movement, and allows the Gale Strike to make irregular maneuvers that normal MS cannot do. The suit's name is a reference to it slicing opponent while moving in an irregular, high speed manner, like a "gale" force wind sweeping through the battlefield.

The machine's height and weight were increased a little due to the use of revised drive systems in the leg joints. They grant the joints faster response time, but overuse of the joints can cause heating issues that affect their durability. To solve this problem, new knee armor with slits are fitted onto the legs. In the atmosphere, the slits allow for the joints to be air cooled, while in space, the slits function as heat radiators. The sensors and computers in the suit's head also have their performance improved, but this caused their size to increase, and as a result a miniature peltier cooling device was used for heat dissipation instead of the original Strike's gas cooling slits. Thus, Gale Strike does not have any mouth slits.

Besides the head-mounted "Igelstellung" 75mm multi-barrel CIWS guns and "Armor Schneider" combat knives, Gale Strike is also armed with a pair of "Wing Saw", serrated swords that can also support the suit's aerial maneuvers. If required, the suit can use the same model of beam rifle as the original Strike as its ranged weapon. Like the other Librarian's MS and the original Strike, it can utilize the Striker Pack system. The suit is most often seen using the Shield Striker. Shield Striker is a modified Aile Striker, the wings and large thrusters are removed, while the smaller thrusters and beam sabers are repositioned and a shield is mounted on a mobile arm at the top.

  • Gunbarrel Astray (MBF-M1+AQM/E-X04) (Used for Space)

Originally planned by the Earth Alliance to be Mu La Flaga's personal unit, the Gunbarrel Strike mounts the AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker as a Striker Pack and allows the suit usage of wire-guided gunbarrel pods (which could only be controlled by one with high spatial awareness, like Mu) and perhaps the Striker's gatling gun. The Gunbarrel Strike is also armed with its standard beam rifle and shield, but it lacks a beam saber to engage in close combat.

  • "Igelstellung" 75mm Multi-Barrel CIWS

The Igelstellung 75mm multi-barrel Close In Weapon System is a pair of head mounted Vulcan guns. These guns are small-caliber shell firing weapons that are designed to shoot down missiles and lightly armored vehicles, but are ineffective against the heavier armor of a mobile suit.

  • Type 70 Beam Saber

The type 70 beam saber is the standard close combat beam weapon of Orb mobile suits. The MBF-M1 M1 Astray is equipped with two beam sabers on its flight pack.

  • Type 71 Beam Rifle

The type 71 beam rifle is the standard ranged beam weapon of the Orb military. The beam rifle fires an energy beam that is highly effective against most targets, such as mobile suits, but is less effective against targets designed to take beam attacks, such as laminated armor or shields treated with an anti-beam coating. It can destroy a GINN, Strike Dagger, and GuAIZ with a single shot.

  • Shield

M1 Astray can can use a physical shield for defense, it is mounted on the left forearm and/or handheld. This is the same type of shield as used by Strike and Duel Gundams.

  • Anti-ship Sword.

A 9.1m long physical sword, the M1 Astray can be optionally equipped with up to two of this sword. Despite its name, the sword can be used for both anti-MS combat and anti-ship combat. Stored in special sheath mounted on the side armor, the sword is similar in appearance to the anti-ship swords found on the MBF-02+P202QX Strike Rouge IWSP.

  • Type 71-44 Improved Sniper Beam Rifle

A weapon from the MBF-M1A M1A Astray, this was a handheld beam weapon that was developed specifically for long distance shooting. Appears in Gundam Build Fighters, on a customized blue M1 Astray unit.

  • BLASH HB-L-07/N-STD Hyper Bazooka

Technically a large rocket launcher it could fire several 360mm missiles to attack targets at long range. No mass-production MS's armor is able to stop this weapon. While very powerful, it has a slow rate of fire and a fairly little amount of ammunition. Most oftenly used to take out slow, heavily armored targets.

  • Railcannon

A weapon which uses electromagnetic forces, rather than gunpowder, to fire solid projectiles at very high velocities. This weapon was first seen used by the RGM-79F Land Combat Type GM.

  • Harpoon Gun

Designed with amphibious combat in mind, this weapon proved to be very versatile as it can be used while underwater or on land. The disadvantages of this weapon, however are just as great as it only has four harpoons and like most solid round weapons, the harpoons may not be able to pierce deeply into the armor of enemy mobile suits to cause enough damage.

  • "Schwert Gewehr" 15.78m Anti-ship Sword

The "Schwert Gewehr" 15.78m anti-ship sword is the Sword Strike's largest and primary weapon. It is a large physical sword that has a laser blade along the cutting edge. The large blade is designed to easily slice mobile suits in half or to cut off sections of a ship such as the guns. Although "Schwert Gewehr" was designed to have a laser gun at the bottom end, Strike only uses the prototype model which lacks this feature and has it replaced by a short beam blade emitter. Due to its sharp tip, the sword can also be used for aquatic combat. It is stored on the right side of the backpack when not in use.

  • "Panzer Eisen" Rocket Anchor

Mounted on the left forearm, the front portion is a rocket-propelled grappling claw that is shot out on a line to hit or grab an enemy unit. The whole weapon itself can function as a shield and has anti-beam coating to defend against beam weapons. It can also be used for aquatic combat and can defend against the Phonon Maser.

  • "Midas Messer" Beam Boomerang

The "Midas Messer" beam boomerang is a throwing weapon that emits a short beam blade on one end, and can return to the owner after throwing, often catching enemy units by surprise. It is stored on Sword Strike's left shoulder armor when not in use.

  • "Agni" 320mm Hyper Impulse Beam Cannon

The primary weapon of the Launcher Strike is the powerful "Agni" 320mm hyper impulse beam cannon. At its introduction, it was one of the most powerful mobile suit mounted weapon and is capable of blasting a hole through a colony wall. It is mounted on the left side of the backpack via an arm unit, and held under the left shoulder when in use.

  • Combo Weapons pod

The secondary weapon of the Launcher Strike, it contains a multi-barreled 120mm anti-ship Vulcan gun and a pair of 350mm gun launchers. It is mounted on the right shoulder armor and mainly used to defend against missiles and enemy mobile suits.

  • 105mm cannon

The IWSP pack includes two 105mm cannons at the front for long range bombardment.

  • 115mm Railgun

A pair of 115mm railguns is mounted on the IWSP pack, above the 105mm cannons. Railguns are powerful weapons that use electromagnetism and sliding bars to rapidly accelerate projectiles. Sensors are mounted on each barrel for high precision shooting.

  • 9.1m Anti-ship Sword (With Anti-beam coated and High-Frequency technology)

Developed based on the Sword Striker's "Schwert Gewehr" 15.78 meter anti-ship. These swords are shorter and do not posses a beam or laser blade emitter so as reduce energy usage. In the event that a beam blade is needed, the pilot can easily switch to the beam boomerang. When not in used, the swords are stored in sheaths mounted on the bottom of the IWSP pack.

Those blades were upgraded into High-Frequency and Anti-beam coating which able to block any beam weapons when its limit overheated.

  • Combined shield (30mm 6-barrel Gatling machine gun x 1, "Midas Messer" beam boomerang x 1)

Although the Combined Shield has defense, range(Gatling machine gun) and melee attack ability (beam boomerang), it also causes the suit’s center of gravity to tilt to the left when it is equipped. As such, it was poorly rated by the pilots and not included when the Noir Striker, IWSP pack's successor, was made.

The Gatling gun is coverts into Beam weapon due to Gaera Zulu's arsenal.

  • Wing Saw

Stored on Gale Strike's hip, these serrated swords have anti-beam coating and a data-gathering functionality similar to the katana of the MBF-P05LM Astray Mirage Frame. If the blade is unable to cut through an object, the frequency at which the saw blade vibrates can be altered, increasing its cutting power and even enabling it to cut through even Phase Shift Armor. Other than being a weapon, the Wing Saws also support the suit's aerial maneuvers. When stored on the hip, they can function as support wings. When handheld, they can be used to control air flow and for Active Mass Balance Auto-Control (AMBAC) purposes.

  • Beam Saber

Mounted on the Shield Striker, the pair of beam sabers are the same as those used by the Aile Strike.

  • Shield

The same type of shield as used by Strike. Mounted on an articulated support arm at the top of the Shield Striker, it does not need to be handheld, allowing the Gale Strike to wields it weapons with both hand. The shield is mainly for protecting the suit's rear, and can be used for flight control.

The Gunbarrel Strike Gundam is equipped with four gunbarrel pods, each mounting one GAU-758S railgun and two M70AMSAT missiles. These pods are usually mounted on the Striker pack but can be detached and controlled through wires to attack an enemy from multiple directions. Also, the gunbarrels can function as additional boosters when attached to the Striker pack, increasing its speed or the speed of the MS to which it is docked to. The only drawback of the gunbarrel system is the fact that only pilots with high spatial awareness can use it.

  • M58E4 Gatling Gun

Mounted on the bottom of the Gunbarrel Striker, it is positioned backwards when the Striker pack is mounted on the Strike. It is unknown if it can be used by Strike, and if it is possible, it is likely used for firing at pursuing enemy units due to its position.

To increase mobility, the M1 Astrays are fitted with a fixed "flight pack" derived from the GAT-X105 Strike's Aile Striker pack. The flight pack did not provide true flight but it did increase the suit's overall mobility, and allows it to fly for a short period.

  • EF-24R Flight Rotor Shrike

After the First Alliance-PLANT War, some M1 Astrays are fitted with the "EF-24R Flight Rotor Shrike", which is mounted on the existing flight pack for improved aerial capabilities. When equipped with the flight rotor shrike, the M1 Astray is known as M1 Astray Shrike and is capable of independent flight in the Earth's atmosphere.

  • Hardpoints for Striker Packs

The M1 Astray retains the ability to mount Striker Packs like the original GAT-X105 Strike, granting it the ability to adapt to different combat situations easily. Which based on the GAT-X01 Dagger and Slaughter Dagger.

The Lightning Strike Gundam features all of the base equipment of the Strike Gundam including phase shift armor, and this makes it invulnerable to projectile weaponry. The P204QX Lightning Striker is developed by Orb's Morgenroete, and features an improved battery.

The Strike's operational time is increased by as much as 150% when equipped with this striker pack, and it also gains the ability to transfer some of its power to allied machines, helping to recharge their battery. The primary weapon of the Lightning Strike is a Type 70-31 Electromagnetic cannon, a long-range weapon that can be separated into two halves and stored on arms. - Prototype Endurance Mobile Suit

The MVF-M11C Murasame is a mass-production Mobile Suit, capable of transforming into a mobile suit to mobile armor.

The MVF-M11C Murasame is a next-generation mass production mobile suit developed by the Orb Union and like its predecessor, the MBF-M1 Astray, it can be used on earth and in space.

The most distinguishing feature of the suit is its ability to transform into a highly aerodynamic MA mode, granting it superb aerial mobility and atmospheric flight capability that is superior to the M1 Astray Shrike. The MA mode also grants the suit with additional speed while on on earth and in space. Even without transforming into MA mode, the Murasame is capable of aerial combat by deploying its wings and tail stabilizer during MS mode.

Weapons wise, the Murasame is a well balanced suit, featuring a mix of shell-based and beam-based weaponry. It is armed with air-to-air missiles in its front skirt armor, CIWS guns in its head and wings, a beam cannon in its tail stabilizer, a beam saber stored in its left side armor, an arm-mounted shield and a handheld beam rifle. The suit can also carry various types of missiles on its wings' hardpoints. The Murasame's high performance allows it to hold itself against the newest mass production type mobile suits deployed by Earth Alliance and ZAFT, and with the right pilots and group tactics, can even take down high performance prototype mobile suits, like the Chaos Gundam.

The Murasame has a total of six 12.5mm CIWS, two in its head and another four on its wings (two per wing). These CIWS are mainly used to shoot down incoming missiles or to deter closing in enemy units. The head-mounted CIWS are usable only in MS mode, while the wing-mounted ones are usable only in MA mode.

  • Type 70J Kai Beam saber

For close combat, the Murasame is equipped with a beam saber, which is usually mounted on the suit's left side armor when not in use. The Type 70J Kai Beam saber is an improved version of the beam saber used by M1 Astray, it has a longer operating time as it consumes less energy, and has better reliability as well as being easier to maintain.

  • Type 72 High-energy Beam Cannon

Mounted in the tail stabilizer, this beam cannon is usable only in MA mode and its power is comparable to that of the suit's beam rifle.

Besides the high-energy beam cannon, the only other ranged beam weapon of the Murasame is a Type 72 Kai "Ikazuchi" beam rifle. The beam rifle is stored on the right side armor when not in use or during MA mode. The MVF-M11C Murasame Reconnaissance Type is Transformable Reconnaissance Mobile Suit.

The Murasame Reconnaissance Type is a variant of the MVF-M11C Murasame created specifically for reconnaissance missions. The only difference between the Murasame Reconnaissance Type and the standard unit is the replacement of the latter's tail stabilizer with a large radome. This grants the suit with enhanced sensor abilities, but it also resulted in a slight decrease in mobility.

The MVF-M12A Ootsukigata is a mass production MS and a variant of the MVF-M11C Murasame.

The Ootsukigata is a high-mobility space use MS and its main function is to attack enemy units from outside their attack range as other friendly units closed in for battle. The suit's armament is largely the same as the standard MVF-M11C Murasame, except that the wing-mounted CIWS and the skirt-mounted missiles have been removed. Unlike the Murasame, the Ootsukigata does not have any wings, in their place are a search and targeting sensor and a railgun for long range artillery attacks.

Thanks to an improved fire control system that is directly linked to the suit's sensors, the Ootsukigata can recognize up to 128 targets and lock on to 32 targets, but these numbers are halved when under the effects of N-Jammers. As the Ootsukigata is a space use suit, the air-tightness of its cockpit has been enhanced and additional cooling equipment for the suit's radiation protection system are installed in the skirt armor in place of the missiles carried by the Murasame.

The suit also has a revised communication and AI system for improved coordination with the MBF-M1A M1A Astray. Like the Murasame, the Ootsukigata can switch between MA and MS mode, and has additional thrusters incorporated into the shield and leg units. These thrusters can also act as heat sinks and help in maneuvering the suit when in the lower atmosphere. To distinguish the Ootsukigata from their Murasame counterparts, the suit is painted in light blue.

The FX-550 Skygrasper is an atmospheric support fighter in the Cosmic Era timeline, seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series. It was originally designed to support the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam by being compatible with Striker Packs for aided combat and/or a mid-battle armament delivery system.

Designed as a support craft, the main role of the Skygrasper was to deliver Striker Packs to the GAT-X105 Strike in battle, removing the need to return to the hanger for re-equipping. In addition, since the Skygrasper is compatible with the Striker Packs itself, it can utilize many of the Packs' weapons and equipment during combat, such as the Aile Striker's thrusters for additional speed and agility, the Sword Striker's anti-ship sword and rocket anchor for close range attacks, and the Launcher Striker's beam cannon for enhanced long-range firepower.

On its own, the Skygrasper is armed with a turret-mounted beam cannon, two medium caliber cannons, four machine guns, and can launch anti-ship missiles from the two weapons bay, making it a very capable air superiority fighter in its own right. Civilian Astray DSSD Custom is a multipurpose MS that has been customized to meet the DSSD's needs, it is mainly deployed as work-use MS or as security MS. One of the customization is the head, which mounts specialized sensor unit and is protected from impacts with space debris by a protective visor.

Another customization is that its propulsion system is a hybrid of conventional and electromagnetic propulsion system, with one covering the weaknes of the other. The electromagnetic propulsion system also serves as a predecessor to the Stargazer's more advanced "Voiture Lumiere" propulsion system. Lastly, as precision work in space requires fine movements, specially designed vernier system is added to the main thruster to allow finer control of the MS.

As a side effect of this, the Civilian Astray DSSD Custom also has high mobility in space. In terms of armament, the Civilian Astray DSSD Custom is equipped with a shield, a KMS71/J beam pistol and a laser torch, which also functions as a work tool. The MS is also available for use by civilians and is in fact, one of the few high performance MS that a Natural civilian can obtain easily.

A equipment mainly used for work purposes, but can also be used as a self-defense weapon. By elongating the beam’s focus, the laser torch will become a weapon but doing this requires recognition code from DSSD equipment control center. It is likely that Leon Grave's Civilian DSSD Custom uses a modified version that does not require this code.

  • KMS71/J Beam Pistol

A beam pistol designed by DSSD. It has a unique variable output system and focuses more on rate of fire rather than effective range or power. However, one of its shot still can destroy a MS when it hits the suit's vital places.

Leons Grave's Civilian DSSD Custom uses an improved version of this beam pistol. Its firing range has been improved greatly and during close combat, it can function as a beam submachine gun.

A simple defensive armament mounted on the left arm or carried in hand, its sharp edges also allows it to be used as a weapon during close combat. The shield is constructed using special light-weight alloy and does not hamper the MS's mobility in space.

The EB-06 Graze is a mass-produced mobile suit. Jing had interests in Gjallarhorn's latest and outdated mobile suits. And due to the fact that Tekkadan's heavily damaged Custom Graze/Ryusei-Go. Knowing that that will provide such outdated mobile suit.

The Graze is a state of the art mobile suit series built by Gjallarhorn and deployed within the Earth Sphere and space. It is the successor of the EB-04 Geirail and can trace its roots back to the Calamity War era mobile suit, V08-1228 Grimgerde and its Valkyrja Frame. An excellent machine with low development and operational cost, the Graze is said to be the culmination of current technology.

The machine's frame was carefully designed for general purpose use, and through exchanging armaments and armor, it can adapt to various environments as well as use various loadouts to meet the needs of different missions. The frame was also developed to be lighter and simpler; compared to the Gundam Frame that represents Calamity War era MS, the Graze’s frame is made using much lesser structural material.

The Graze’s head not only contains sensor(s) that excel at measuring Ahab Waves, infrared and so forth, it also has a spherical module that is exposed during optical long-distance viewing and precise measurement.[5] The legs contain retractable thrusters, which are stored within when not in use. This reduces the damage dealt to the machine when they are hit. When used under gravity, the Graze is equipped with lightened armor equipment to ensure its mobility. For space use, it is equipped with a booster unit on its back for high speed movements. An almost identical booster unit can also be equipped for use under gravity, but it is mounted on the rear skirt armor instead.

During the development process, many prototypes of the same model were assembled. An example is the EB-05s Schwalbe Graze, which has higher output and mobility, and is a sister machine using the same frame. In pursuit of greater versatility, improvements were made to the machine and this resulted in diverse weaponized variants. The aim of this is to reduce operation costs while enhancing stability. There is also a commander version of the standard Graze known as EB-06s Graze Commander Type. The smallest operating unit within the Gjallarhorn Mobile Suit Corps consists of three units: a Commander unit and two Standard units.

The Graze is an easy to handle machine for pilots as well as mechanics, and inside Gjallahorn many have voiced their praises for the machine's performance. Thus, there is a negative opinion on the development of a next generation main machine. However, the battle of Edmonton encouraged the development of heavily armed mobile suits with increased firepower and high output, and as a result, the EB-08 Reginlaze was developed as Graze's successor.

The 120mm Rifle can be configured into a short rifle by replacing the sensor equipped standard barrel with a short barrel. The short rifle has lower range and accuracy, but is ideal for close combat-use in conjunction with the Battle Axe.

  • GR-H01 9.8m Battle Axe

Because MS are protected by Nanolaminate Armor, direct blows are considered to be extremely effective during MS battle. The Battle Axe is an equipment developed for MS battle, and focused on striking power.[1][4] It is stored on the side of the waist when not in use.

A rocket firing weapon developed for Graze's use, it is mounted on a special shoulder rack. The bazooka is positioned behind the shoulder rack when not in use, and rotates forward when deployed. Although there are two grips for the Graze's hands, it is possible to fire the bazooka without holding them.[8] If the grips are used, the bazooka can be fired without being mounted on the rack.[4] The bazooka's magazine holds five rounds.[4]

A sword-type melee weapon that is developed for ground combat, it is easy to wield due to its light weight. As the Graze’s attitude/posture control system is already under high stress when the suit is deployed under gravity, the battle blade is designed to display sufficient destructive power while placing as little burden as possible on the system. It is used by the Graze piloted by Iok Kujan in his fight against the Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City.

A customized Graze used by Gjallarhorn's internal regulatory unit. It is capable of carrying out attitude/posture control that are impossible for other mobile suits due to the wire claw on the left forearm as well as the fixing arms on the shoulders, knees and feet. In addition, the shock absorbers in its legs were also enhanced, reducing the noise made by the suit. Using its stun stick, the Graze Stachel engages in hit and run, and other highly discreet attacks.

A custom variant of the EB-06 Graze used by the Gjallarhorn's Arianrhod Fleet, the word 'Schild' is German for 'Shield', and the suit uses a large shield alongside a halberd as its primary armament. The Graze Schild also has a slightly different head design with a unique chin guard, and a red stripe is painted on both the head and its shield. Deployed in organized group combat, it is primarily used to lay siege and suppress targeted city or organization's base under gravity.

A Graze variant specializing in ground combat, it is so far only deployed on Earth. The Graze Ground Type differs from the standard Graze in having lighter armor in some areas, a multi-rack backpack, different thigh armor equipped with large hover units on the sides, and new feet with supplementary hover units in the sole. The latter two changes are made in consideration of combat under gravity; the thighs' hover units are designed with Earth's atmospheric pressure and 1G environment in mind, and grants the suit high mobility, while the feet's supplementary hover units help with stable posture/attitude control and fine adjustment of the suit's thrust. The Graze Ground Type uses the same weapons as the standard Graze, but swaps the battle axe for a sword-like battle blade.

The Graze Ritter is the sister machine of the Graze and uses the same Graze Frame. Developed for the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet that is headquartered in the satellite base 'Gladsheimr 1' and tasked with defending the earth's orbit, the machine is piloted by the elite guards of the fleet's commander, Carta Issue, who herself pilots a commander variant. Designed not only to be a weapon, the Graze Ritter is also meant to reflect the peacekeeping philosophy of Gjallarhorn and incorporated into its look were some simple elegant features. Its missions also include participating in various ceremonies held by Gjallarhorn where they will perform elegant formation flying. These formations are also used by Graze Ritters during combat.

As the Graze Ritter is used for orbital combat/defense, it is equipped accordingly and also adjusted to have better mobility than the standard Graze. The unique shoulder armor used by the Graze Ritter not only has additional thrusters but also higher defensive strength than those used by the Graze. The suit uses the same back-mounted booster units as the Graze for high speed movements in space, and has a wide variety of ground-use equipment due to the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet having the rights to land on earth. When deployed on the ground, the suit is fitted with a different thigh armor equipped with hover units on the sides that are also used by the Graze Ground Type. These hover units are designed with Earth's atmospheric pressure and 1G environment in mind, and grants the suit high mobility while on Earth. There are also other hidden modifications for ground use, and the suit can use a drop module when entering the earth's atmosphere.

Unlike the standard Graze, the Graze Ritter's primary close combat weapon is a sword known as Knight Blade, but it can also be equipped with the Battle Axe if required. After McGillis Fareed becomes Commander of the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet, the Graze Ritter's color scheme changed from green to light blue, and its ground performance was also optimized.

A commander-use version of the EB-06r Graze Ritter, it is first used by Carta Issue, the commander of the Gjallarhorn's Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet. The main differences between the Graze Ritter Commander Type and the standard Graze Ritter includes larger head crest, slightly different chest armor, longer shoulder side armor with higher output round thrusters, and red highlights on the head and shoulder armor instead of white. These changes in its look made it more representative of the Gjallarhorn's peacekeeping philosophy than the standard machine.

Although the suit is only seen in its ground configuration in the anime, it can also be configured for space use. The space configuration uses the same thigh armor and back-mounted booster units as the standard Graze, while the ground configuration has different thigh armor equipped with hover units on the sides that are also used by the Graze Ground Type. Like the standard Graze Ritter, the Graze Ritter Commander Type uses a Knight Blade as its main close combat weaponry, but can also be equipped with the Battle Axe when required.

A blue variant of the suit with yellow highlights is later used by McGillis Fareed when he became the commander of the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet. Besides the change in color scheme, the suit's appearance remain unchanged. However, its characteristics have been comprehensively reviewed. Particularly, its earth based combat data was recalculated, and as a result, its mobility under earth's gravity was maximized. Additionally, McGillis's unit dual-wields the Knight Blades in combat, similar to how he piloted his previous machine.

A commander used version of the EB-06 Graze. It is identical in terms of structure, appearance and performance to the standard Graze, except for the additional head antenna that improved its communication range to twice that of the standard unit to maintain the chain of command even under the influence of Ahab Waves. Like the standard Graze, in space, the Commander Type is equipped with a booster unit on its back for high speed movements. An almost identical booster unit can be equipped for use under gravity, but it is mounted on the rear skirt armor instead. The smallest operating unit within the Gjallarhorn Mobile Suit Corps is three units: a commander unit and two standard unit.

Created from the captured Graze units of Orlis and Crank.[2] Both units were unusable due to the fact that some parts were severely damaged, but Tekkadan Mechanics, Nadi and Yamagi, managed to combined all the usable parts to make a new single Graze unit, now dubbed as the Graze Custom. When its Ahab Reactor frequencies were scanned, it registers as Crank's unit. This indicated that the suit uses the reactor from Crank's Graze.

While Tekkadan's mechanics have very little experience working with mobile suits, the Graze's series design focus of easy maintenance was a great help to them. During the assembly of the Graze Custom, some of the Grazes' damaged parts like the head, shoulders and torso were replaced with Tekkadan's own custom parts.

A booster was also added to the back, improving the suit's thrust. These new parts are painted mostly in white as that is the cheapest Nanolaminate Armor paint color. The strength of the upper body armor has dropped compared to the original, but since the suit is lighter overall, its mobility and turning is expected to be better in space.

The same weapon as used by Gundam Barbatos. It is a 300mm caliber gun produced for use mainly in zero gravity environment and space, emphasis was placed on power rather than accuracy. It also has a 60mm machine-gun at the bottom.

  • GR-W02 320mm Bazooka

A weapon captured by Tekkadan when the Gjallarhorn forces withdraw after the battle near the low orbit station.[6] The bazooka is a rocket firing weapon developed for Graze's use, it is mounted on a special shoulder rack. The bazooka is positioned behind the shoulder rack when not in use, and rotates forward when deployed. Although there are two grips for the mobile suit's hands, it is possible to fire the bazooka without holding them.

The Ryusei-Go is an upgraded version of the Graze Custom using equipment and technology from Teiwaz. As a result, it now has shoulders and rear skirt armor derived from Teiwaz's Hyakuren, and although its weight increased, the new parts also grants it tougher armor and better attitude/posture control. Parts for attaching the Kutan Type-III's small side arm armor to the legs were also incorporated. The small side arm armor helps to increase the suit's thrust, and gives its excellent performance in orbital combat despite the pull of gravity. The Ryusei-Go can also use the Kutan Type-III the standard way, with the small side arm armor still attached to the transport craft/booster.

The suit's control system has been changed as well, it is now connected to the Alaya-Vijnana System which is salvaged from a Man Rodi. This helps to make the mobile suit easier to control for its pilot, Norba Shino, who is used to using the system. The enlarged head fin, the artistic design on the head as well as the suit's unique pink coloring were all requested by Shino. He thinks that they will help increase his fighting spirit, but only a few members of Tekkadan agree with him. He was also responsible for naming the suit 'Ryusei-Go'. The cash-strapped Tekkadan initially wanted to paint the whole machine in white, the cheapest nanolaminate armor paint. However, they were able to paint it in pink when they found red nanolaminate armor paint from the Brewers and combined it with their white paint.

Like the Graze Custom, the Ryusei-Go is recognized by Gjallorhorn's computer as being previously Crank Zent's Graze as it uses the Ahab Reactor from Crank's Graze and hence emit the same reactor frequencies.

  • Alaya-Vijnana System

An organic device system, this old man-machine interface was developed during the Calamity War to maximize the abilities of the mobile suit. The system has two parts, one part is installed in the mobile suit, and the other part is implanted into the pilot’s spine. With this system, the pilot can connect to the mobile suit's computer and directly process mobile suit data. It also allows the pilot (even uneducated ones) to operate mobile suit for combat without reading the instruction manual. The implant in the pilot also enhances spatial awareness. The drop in technical capabilities after the Calamity War, coupled with the use of an incomplete version of the system in the Outer Sphere areas (such as Mars and Jupiter), lead to the implant surgery having a low success rate and can only be done at a young age to let the implant fuse as the pilot grow.

The Ryusei-Go was fitted with the Alaya-Vijnana System salvaged from a Man Rodi as neither the original Graze nor the Graze Custom was installed with it. However since the system was forcefully integrated into an existing control system, its link with the pilot is imperfect and its information transfer capabilities are inferior to the one on Gundam Barbatos. It does make the Ryusei-Go an easy to handle mobile suit for the Tekkadan's pilots though.

  • Head Sphere Sensor

Inherited from the Graze Custom, a spherical sensor is mounted inside the head, it is revealed during optical long-distance viewing and precise measurement.

  • Kutan Type-III

A long distance transport craft/booster used for transporting containers and mobile suit. It can travel at extremely high speeds and thus traverse great distances in just a short amount of time. Besides the standard method of attachment to the Kutan Type III, the Ryusei-Go can alternatively attach the transport craft/booster's small side arm armor onto its legs, and they grant the suit increased thrust, and excellent performance in orbital combat despite the pull of gravity.

An upgraded version of the Graze's prototype, the Schwalbe Graze is a trial machine born during the Graze's development process with the goal of achieving both high output and high mobility. Although the Schwalbe Graze uses the same frame as the Graze, its operational and cost aspects are not as good, thus it lost to Graze during the competition to be Gjallarhorn’s main MS.

However, it was recognized as a commander type machine and deployed as such.

The Schwalbe Graze can be used in any environment like the Graze, its high mobility is achieved through the adoption of lightened equipment and the addition of boosters on various body parts as well as flight units on the back and hips. The back-mounted flight unit allows combat in the atmosphere that is greatly influenced by the planet's gravity, but it also makes the machine hard to control and places extra burden on the pilot.

As with the Graze, the Schwalbe Graze also possesses retractable thrusters on the legs, which are stored within when not in use. This reduces the damage dealt to the machine when they are hit. Compared to the normal Graze which is focused more on versatility, Schwalbe Graze has poor stability during low output and this makes it necessary for the pilot to be skilled.

On the other hand, the machine has a higher maximum output, and showcases its performance as the battle gets tougher. This sacrifice of stability in exchange for higher output was done at the behest of skilled pilots such as McGillis Fareed.

As a commander and also ace-use unit, pilots of the Schwalbe Grazes are typically fixed, and the machines are customized to their pilots' preferences. This makes it easy for each machine's personality to stand out. One example of this is the unit used by Gaelio Bauduin, which uses a purple color scheme and holds a dedicated lance in its right arm.

However, the lance was not passed on when Gaelio transferred his Schwalbe Graze to Ein Dalton. The Schwalbe Graze can use the armaments of the regular Graze, and with the appropriate weapons, it can be used for command, support and/or melee combat.

A mobile suit commonly used by various organisations, the Dort Company deployed the Spinner Rodi for colony wall construction. It is also used for other civil engineering works as well as security purposes in many industrial colonies, and thus its parts are widely circulated. The protrusion on its forehead contains an additional movable sensor. To adapt to uses both in space and within colonies, it is equipped with a back pod, a rifle with grenade launcher, and thruster equipped boost hammer.

Commander-use version of the machine has a blade antenna at the back of the head.

Rodi - Cockpit hatch

The Man Rodi is the main short-to-middle range combat mobile suit used by the pirate organization Brewers. It is a restored machine that uses the Rodi frame, one of the many frame types produced during the Calamity War. Many mobile suits using this frame were mass produced during the middle period of the Calamity War and served as the main units in the Outer Sphere for many years.

As the Rodi frame does not have a defining characteristic feature, it also does not have many drawbacks either and is thus considered to be very versatile. Due to its versatility, it's able to support heavy armor and the Man Rodi is loaded with such until its maximum weight capacity, granting it high survivability. The Man Rodi is customized primarily for space as its heavy armor would be a huge burden under gravity, and as a result, its legs' design prioritized landing gear functions. Despite its bulky appearance, it's actually quite flexible and mobile in space when all of the thrusters distributed in the rear skirt, back and legs are actively used. Its mobility is further enhanced with the use of the Alaya-Vijnana System.

As the Brewers is a pirate organization, their MO usually centers around targeting merchant ships that carry valuable cargo. In battle, the Brewers would deploy Man Rodi units in front in order to absorb fire from the targeted ship's anti-aircraft fire. The takeover of the target ship is eventually done by invading and taking over the bridge. While it is mobile and well protected, the main weakness of the Man Rodi is its short operating time due to its high fuel consumption from its weight. Eventually, the suit is also used by other organizations.

Some Man Rodis used by the space pirates Brewers were modified for ground use after being captured, and they were eventually deployed to Tekkadan's Earth branch.

Since it's equipped with the Alaya-Vijnana System, it can display its full mobility under Earth's gravity and Mars's.[1][2] The largest difference with the Man Rodi is the Landman Rodi's new legs, which are suitable for ground combat and has a different thruster placement.

As these legs use high class parts, unlike the low cost space-use version of the Man Rodi, the suit is also capable of operating in space without any issue.

The Garm Rodi is one of the many machines created through customization of the Rodi Frame, which was mass-produced during the middle period of the Calamity War, and is equipped with heavy armor. Making use of the frame's characteristic versatility, it achieves a fine balance between mobility and defensive performance.[1] The Dawn Horizon Corps utilize this versatile unit as the organization operates in a wide variety of areas, and needs a machine that could adapt to various combat situations.

The Garm Rodi has an unique armored visor for the head camera, and commander-use version has a different silver gray color scheme, an added blade antenna on the head and another shoulder shield.[2][3] The Garm Rodi's weapons are the same for both the standard version and the commander version, and its pilot can select from a wide variety based on preferences and combat situations. Including the commander use Garm Rodi, Dawn Horizon Corps’ MS teams typically consisted of 6 machines.

Used for combat duty by Chryse Guard Security and Tekkadan. When not used in combat, its weapons are often removed and equipped with a flatbed to transport people and materials. They are older than the ones available on the market now, and hence has inferior armaments and performance. It runs on a Hydrogen Engine and thus can be operated legally within city limits, unlike mobile suits that cannot as their Ahab reactors would ruin various city functions. A commander variant and a space variant also exists.

Tekkadan later acquired an upgraded version with better armament.

A pair of 4-tubed smoke dischargers can be attached to the sides of the Mobile Worker. They fire smoke grenades to provide concealment from enemy sight.

Although the Tekkadan bought many MS from Teiwaz, it still needs mobile workers for use in the streets, etc.[1] So new mobile workers that are larger, has higher performance and better firepower than Tekkadan’s old mobile workers were acquired to expand the team. Its front armor is sloped to protect against projectiles. Primarily used by new members of Tekkadan, it also has no Alaya-Vijnana System, and requires a pilot and gunner to man.

STH-16 ShidenEdit

A mass production, general purpose model developed by Teiwaz based on the technology accumulated from the development of the Hyakuri and Hyakuren. The Shiden's Io Frame was designed from scratch, but as it shares the same design philosophy as the Hyakuri and Hyakuren's Teiwaz Frame, the two appear to be sister machines even to great technicians. Although the Io frame uses Ahab Reactor from the Calamity War era that was recovered from the Debris Zone, it is still extremely valuable as it uses the latest technology in the crafting of its frame material to its design and development.

As a mass produced machine, Shiden has a good balance of close and ranged combat capabilities as well as mobility, to meet the needs of pilots with varied level of skills and proficiency. This easy to maintain machine also has high versatility, with a variety of interchangeable equipment to suit different environments or situations. Its main head camera has multiple sensors, and is protected by exchangeable visor. The suit is geared towards group rather than solo combat, thus despite being newer than the Hyakuri and Hyakuren, its individual performance is inferior to the Graze. The strongest point about the Shiden is that it is being further developed.

A bat with two fin-like protrusion at the sides, this close range weapon has enhanced destructive power.

The visor protecting the Shiden's main camera can be exchanged according to the environment.[1] Different visors also have different camera views, and facilitates identification.[5]

An optional antenna can be fitted to the back of the Shiden's head.[5]

STH-16/tc Shiden CustomEdit

Originally a Shiden customized for Shino's use, and at his request, shoulder thrusters were added and a gauntlet is equipped as part of its standard equipment. The suit is nicknamed Ryusei-Go III by Shino, and is designed so that he can make use of its high mobility in battle. It also has the EB-06/tc2 Ryusei-Go's battle data, and reuses some of the latter's parts including the cockpit seat. Thus, it is the only Shiden with the Alaya-Vijnana System.

After Shino switched to the Gundam Flauros, his Shiden Custom was given to Ride Mass. It was then painted in a yellow-gold colour scheme with a blue lightning motif on the left shoulder based on Ride's preferences, who also dubs the suit as the "Riden-Go". It also has a different visor and an another gauntlet on the right forearm. The use of two gauntlets allow the suit to excel at super close combat.

The STH-16/tc2 Orga's Shiden (獅電オルガ機?) (aka Orga's Shiden Custom) is a mobile suit from the second season of the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS television series.

This customized STH-16 Shiden for Orga Itsuka was a gift from Teiwaz by McMurdo Barriston, as gratuity to Tekkadan for their purchase of large number of Shiden.

It differs from the standard Shiden only in appearances, having a custom nanolaminate armor paint scheme, blade antenna on the visor, and left shoulder shield. Has the nickname King's Throne.

Using the development data from the STH-05 Hyakuren and STH-14s Hyakuri, Teiwaz is currently developing the Hekija as their successor. A new generation, mass production model with high performance, the Hekija required more time to develop compared to the STH-16 Shiden, for which the mass production system was already set up. Currently, they are the stage of collecting data through limited test machines, and development is progressing smoothly. The Hekija's concept is based on balancing the high mobility of the Hyakuri with the high output level of the Hyakuren. Its frame is based on a modified version of the Teiwaz Frame that is still unnamed due to Hekija's trial status.

Like the Shiden, the Hekija's frame is purely Teiwaz-made, from the crafting of the component metals to design and assembly, except for the Ahab Reactor.

Assault Form

For high mobility combat, the Hekija can change into 'Assault Form' by deploying the thrusters on the shoulders and rear waist, as well as flipping the feet up to reveal concealed feet thrusters. By freely manipulating the direction of the propulsion, it is possible to maintain high turning performance, high mobility, and to respond to various inflight conditions.

In outer space, the suit can instantaneously shorten the distance to the targets with the Assault Form's overwhelming acceleration, making it possible to flexibly choose the combat style, from hit-and-run tactics to super close combat in which the suit constantly stays engaged with the target. However, the lack of ground combat data caused by the suit's trial status hindered its ground performance, and manual adjustments of the settings were required to compensate.

In terms of operability, careful consideration was given and specifications were adjusted to reduce strains on the pilot. The focus on ease of operation is influenced by the increasing use of human debris, necessitating a counter to the Alaya-Vijnana system.

  • Rotating Blade

A pair of blades are mounted on the Hekija's forearms, they can rotate forward to assault opponents or to further secure the suit's bayonet rifle.[1] When stored, they can be used to shield against slashing attacks.[1]

  • 110mm Bayonet Rifle
Hekija-bayonetrifle

A 110mm caliber rife with a blade at the bottom, it is made for Hekija's use and is manufactured at the same time as the suit's development.[1][5] When precision fire is needed, the rotating blades on the suit's forearms are deployed to further secure the rifle.[1] When moving, the rifle can be stored on the suit's rear waist armor.

  • Tobiguchi Blade

Created as a result of research on Hekija's equipment, it is currently undergoing trials.[1] The tobiguchi blade has a special shape in order to realize a combat style that take full advantage of Hekija's mobility, and is easy to wield.[1][3] Its hook-shaped tip can be removed if not needed, and during unexpected situations, such as when the tip got stuck in enemy MS, it can be shattered into pieces via inbuilt explosives.[2] Can be stored on the suit's rear waist armor when not in use.
